NOTE: This Web site is designed to be viewed in Microsoft's© Internet Explorer.

We are in the process of updating the site to HTML5 standards. As such, we ask that you please be patient as we have to update each and every page individually, and this takes time. If a link/page does not load correctly, please know that we are working on it, so please check the link/page again in the near future. We appreciate all the visits, and look forward to getting all links/pages up and running as soon as we possibly can. It is HIGHLY recommended that you "refresh" this page by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard to ensure that you are loading the most recent version of the page before continuing.

The BIGGEST difference that you will find between this Web site and others that offer downloads for the various flight simulations is that whenever possible I have attempted to create an "installation" program for the downloads...No more having to create folders, and then copying and/or moving files. The installation program does all of this for you...AUTOMATICALLY. So, where possible, all you have to do is to simply double-click on the installation program and enjoy! I strongly encourage you to visit the Installation Program page to see how this program works before downloading any of the wonderful add-ons from this site. To start your experience, simply click on one of the links to the left...

ABOUT THESE AIRCRAFT

Downloads from this page are for 64bit operating systems and for Microsoft© Combat Flight Simulator 2 ONLY, and should not be on 32bit operating systems or used in CFS1, as we have versions of the aircraft for 32bit operating systems and for CFS1. The aircraft found on this page have been designed by members of ABSquad. These aircraft are not "mods", but are true "add-ons". Much time and effort has gone in to the creation, design, and testing of each and every one of the planes found here on this page. We have and always will strive for "historical accuracy" in the planes we design. Specifications for the aircraft in most cases come directly from the manufacturer, or sites on the Internet that are dedicated to these planes. Their flight characteristics, handling, speed, armament, and look are as close to the real thing as Combat Flight Simulator 2 will allow (at least we think so...). They are not 100% accurate because of those limitations - but we feel that they are closer than anything else that is currently available. Download them...fly them...then decide for yourself.

NOTE: The CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack x86 only needs to be installed once for the ABSquad aircraft. You do not have to install it each time you install a new aircraft. Once it is installed, it is available for all aircraft. You would only need to install it again if you completely uninstall CFS2 and then re-install it.

GERMAN AIRCRAFT x86:

CFS2 Dornier AB-Do 335A-1 CFS2 x86 Dornier AB-Do 335A-1 (5.39MB). The Dornier AB-Do 335A-1 Pfeil ("Arrow") is instantly identified by its tandem engine layout and upper and lower tail fins. This layout gave the aircraft twin engine power (with the low drag of a similar singled engine aircraft), and none of the usual problems of engine-out handling common in a twin engine setup. Developed too late in the war to see service with the Luftwaffe, the prototypes were well received by its pilots, who called it the "Ameisenbar", or "anteater", due to its long nose. The DO 335A-1 also had an internal bomb bay and one of the first ejection seats ever developed for an aircraft. By: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker. NOTE: You MUST install the CFS2 x86 Ultimate Weapons Pack in order to be able to use the new "enhanced" weapons, as it is not included with the aircraft in an attempt to keep the file size down. The CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack x86 only needs to be installed once for the ABSquad aircraft. CFS2 Focke-Wulf AB-Fw 190A-4 "Hannes" CFS2 x86 Focke-Wulf AB-Fw 190A-4 "Hannes" (4.85MB). Considered Germany's "other iron in the fire"as far as the Luftwaffe was concerned. At the time, the Bf 109 was Germany's primary fighter, and had proven itself quite capable - until the Battle of Britain. Virtually un-catchable with sufficient altitude, the Fw 190A-4 could strike and leave almost at will, with the Spitfire Mk V's it fought left in the dust behind it.  CFS2 x86 Focke-Wulf AB-Fw 190A-8 (3.98MB). The most produced fighter version of the Fw-190 was the A-8. With its large power reserves, including the GM-1 nitrous-oxide boost system, the Fw-190A-8 was armed with THE MOST dangerous gun combination on any mainline fighter of the time. It was also the first almost entirely electric fighter, making it much more resistant to to the very common hydraulic failures that plagued damaged aircraft of the time (electrical lines are tougher and smaller than hydraulic lines). CFS2 Luftwaffe AB-Hurricane Mk I CFS2 x86 Luftwaffe AB-Hurricane Mk.I (3.99MB). Depiction of a Hawker Hurricane Mk.I captured by the Luftwaffe in 1941 and serving in Paris, France for defense against the anticipated D-Day invasion. The armament of the aircraft was upgraded to include two 20mm cannons mounted in the wings in place of the standard Browning .303 machine guns. CFS2 Luftwaffe AB-Spitfire Mk V CFS2 x86 Luftwaffe AB-Spitfire Mk.V (3.56MB). Depiction of a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V captured by the Luftwaffe in the summer of 1942. The Germans added the Dailmer-Benz DB 605D engine with a whopping 2,000hp! As a result of the larger engine, the nose of the aircraft had to be stretched, giving the aircraft the look of the familiar Bf 109. CFS2 x86 Messerschmitt AB-Bf 109E-7 (4.36MB). Representation of the aircraft flown by Luftwaffe ace Helmut Wick, November, 1939, who scored 56 victories in the particular aircraft, and one year before he himself was shot down by a British Spitfire over the English Channel in 1940. CFS2 Messerschmitt AB-Bf 109G-10AS CFS2 x86 Messerschmitt AB-Bf-109G-AS10 (3.39MB). Considered the fastest (450mph) of the Bf 109's to be produced during the war. The increase in engine power allowed the aircraft to be the first to be equal to the performance of the British Spitfires in a turn and a dive. CFS2 Messerschmitt AB-Me-262A-1A CFS2 x86 Messerschmitt AB-Me 262A-1A (9.83MB). Representation of the type of aircraft flown by the infamous Jagdverband 44 (JV44), the "Squadron of Experts". Known as the "Swallow",  the Me 262 was the world's first operational jet aircraft. Me 262 pilots claimed a total of 542 Allied kills, although higher claims are sometimes made. The Allies countered its potential effectiveness in the air by attacking the aircraft on the ground and during takeoff and landing.
