NOTE: This Web site is designed to be viewed in Microsoft's© Internet Explorer.

We are in the process of updating the site to HTML5 standards. As such, we ask that you please be patient as we have to update each and every page individually, and this takes time. If a link/page does not load correctly, please know that we are working on it, so please check the link/page again in the near future. We appreciate all the visits, and look forward to getting all links/pages up and running as soon as we possibly can. It is HIGHLY recommended that you "refresh" this page by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard to ensure that you are loading the most recent version of the page before continuing.

The BIGGEST difference that you will find between this Web site and others that offer downloads for the various flight simulations is that whenever possible I have attempted to create an "installation" program for the downloads...No more having to create folders, and then copying and/or moving files. The installation program does all of this for you...AUTOMATICALLY. So, where possible, all you have to do is to simply double-click on the installation program and enjoy! I strongly encourage you to visit the Installation Program page to see how this program works before downloading any of the wonderful add-ons from this site. To start your experience, simply click on one of the links to the left...

ABOUT THESE AIRCRAFT

Downloads from this page are for 64bit operating systems and for Microsoft© Combat Flight Simulator 2 ONLY, and should not be on 32bit operating systems or used in CFS1, as we have versions of the aircraft for 32bit operating systems and for CFS1. The aircraft found on this page have been designed by members of ABSquad. These aircraft are not "mods", but are true "add-ons". Much time and effort has gone in to the creation, design, and testing of each and every one of the planes found here on this page. We have and always will strive for "historical accuracy" in the planes we design. Specifications for the aircraft in most cases come directly from the manufacturer, or sites on the Internet that are dedicated to these planes. Their flight characteristics, handling, speed, armament, and look are as close to the real thing as Combat Flight Simulator 2 will allow (at least we think so...). They are not 100% accurate because of those limitations - but we feel that they are closer than anything else that is currently available. Download them...fly them...then decide for yourself.

NOTE: The CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack x86 only needs to be installed once for the ABSquad aircraft. You do not have to install it each time you install a new aircraft. Once it is installed, it is available for all aircraft. You would only need to install it again if you completely uninstall CFS2 and then re-install it.

HELICOPTERS:

CFS2 x86 Bell AB-AH-1W Super Cobra (3.63MB). The AH-1W Super Cobra is a two-place, twin-engine attack helicopter capable of land or sea-based operations. It provides rotary-wing close air support (CAS), anti-armor/anti-helicopter, armed escort, armed and visual reconnaissance, and supporting arms coordination (SAC) during day/night and adverse weather conditions. It is the only western attack helicopter with a proven air-to-air and anti-radar missile capability, and is used extensively by the U.S. Marines. By: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker. NOTE: You MUST install the CFS2 x86 Ultimate Weapons Pack in order to be able to use the new "enhanced" weapons, as it is not included with the aircraft in an attempt to keep the file size down. The CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack x86 only needs to be installed once for the ABSquad aircraft. You do not have to install it each time you install a new aircraft. Once it is installed, it is available for all aircraft. You would only need to install it again if you completely uninstall CFS2 and then re-install it.

CFS2 x86 Bell AB-OH-58D Kiowa Warrior (2.46MB). An observation and light attack helicopter. The OH-58 Kiowa has been in continuous use by the United States Army since its introduction in 1968. The latest model, the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, is primarily operated in an armed reconnaissance role in support of ground troops. The OH-58D includes a Mast-Mounted Sight (MMS) above the rotor system with a gyro-stabilized platform containing a TeleVision System (TVS), a Thermal Imaging System (TIS), and a Laser Range Finder/Designator (LRF/D). CFS2 x86 Bell AB-UH-1B Huey (3.79MB). One of the most recognized helicopters in the history of rotary aviation. Mostly due to its prominent role in the Vietnam War and extensive post-war commercial use. The Huey was one of the first light helicopters able to carry significant internal payloads due to its unique cabin design and over-head mounted gas-turbine power plant. Representation of the type flown by the Air Cav during the Vietnam War. By: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker.

CFS2 x86 Boeing AB-AH-64 Apache (7.16MB). The AH-64 Apache is the Army's primary attack helicopter. It is a quick-reacting, airborne weapon system that can fight close and deep to destroy, disrupt, or delay enemy forces. The Apache is designed to fight and survive during the day, night, and in adverse weather throughout the world. The principal mission of the Apache is the destruction of high-value targets with the HELLFIRE missile. By: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker. CFS2 x86 McDonnell Douglas AB-MD-500E Scorpion (3.32MB). Designed to fill the light attack role, the relative small size of the Scorpion allows it to attack from behind smaller cover, thus allowing it to get in much closer than her larger cousins like the AH-64 Apache. Fast, agile, and extremely deadly, the Scorpion lives up to it's namesake. By: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker. CFS2 x86 AB-Mi-24 Hind D (9.38MB). The Mi-24 Hind was the first helicopter to enter service with the Russian Air Force as an assault transport and gunship, and is probably the best known attack helicopter in the world. The Mi-24 is a close counterpart to the American AH-64 Apache, but unlike this and other Western assault helicopters it is also capable of transporting up to eight troops. Slow but extremely adapt at the role of attack helicopter, the Hind D is legendary for its awesome firepower and its ability to take extreme punishment.
