Use the following
instructions to get a "clean" installation of the original Ghost Recon,
Desert Siege and Island Thunder only:

Use Windows Explorer and navigate to the main Ghost Recon “mods” folder:
32bit: C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Mods
64bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Mods
2.
Delete EVERYTHING located in the "Mods" directory
3.
Install the new versions of the mods from the links above
NOTE: Install in the following order to get the best
results:
Origmiss ("original" Ghost Recon)
MP1 (Desert Siege)
MP2 (Island Thunder)
You now have a
completely "clean" installation of the original Ghost Recon, Desert
Siege and Island Thunder with no additional add-ons or mods
Use the following instructions to also add ABSquad's Desert Siege
Realism Pack v9.25 and accompanying mappacks and missions:
1. Follow steps 1
thru 3 as mentioned above
2. Install ABSquad's
Desert Siege Realism Pack v9.25
3. Install all of the
ABSquad mappacks (01 thru 17)

Install the “ABSquad's Fogless Maps v4.00 x86”

Install the new "ABSquad Missions

Substitute the mod you want in place of the ABSquad Desert Siege Realism
Pack v9.25, the ABSquad mappacks and missions in the steps above if you
prefer not to use our add-ons
If you delete and then reinstall all of the add-ons mentioned above, you
will have a completely “clean” install of Ghost Recon, which should
eliminate any and all problems with GR. All of the updates are now
contained in either the ABSquad Desert Siege Realism Pack, the ABSquad
maps or the ABSquad missions. Think of the HX5, MP1, MP2 and the
Origmiss installations as “backups”: In the event you suddenly have an
issue with GR, simply follow the installation instructions above and you
have a completely “clean” install of the above mentioned add-ons/mods.
If want to get a COMPLETE "clean" install, also delete the ABSquad
Desert Siege Realism Pack as well as all of the ABSquad mappacks, and
then reinstall using the instructions above and then re-install the
ABSquad Realism Pack x86, followed by the ABSquad mappacks x86, then the
ABSquad's Fogless Maps v4.00 x86 and finally the ABSquad Missions v1.00 x86.

Adds the
new versions of the missions found in the new ABSquad Mappack AB10. When playing
the ABFF185 mission, note that any map designated with an asterisk (*), Example:
AB04 *Cartel Villa, must be played in
VETERAN mode and not ELITE, otherwise, the map will cause Ghost Recon to crash. These missions are MUCH TOUGHER than the
"stock" missions found in Ghost Recon, with many more enemy AI's, armor -
even booby traps and snipers located in the trees! For example: The "AB
FF185" mission is a multi-player mission putting you and your friends
against up to 185 enemy tangos! The "AB Defend" missions put you and
your friends against hordes of enemy AI's determined to overrun your
spawn-in location. The "AB Defend Ultra" missions do the same, but the
bad guys also have tanks! The "AB: Sniper Ultra"
missions pit you against the US Army's Special Forces snipers,
considered one of the most elite sniper groups in the world. These
missions are by far THE TOUGHEST you will play in Ghost Recon, some of
which you can not complete by yourself (have lots of friends involved
and bring plenty of body bags!). These missions were designed
specifically for multi-player Co-Op play (do not attempt to play these
missions as "Single Player" missions, as they can cause some maps to
crash, as they were set up specifically for multiplayer play). By:
