As the anniversary of the attacks on this country approaches, I can't help but feel that there are those in this country who are beginning to forget that terrible day on September 11th, 2001 --- a day that changed everything...I love this country...I love both the good and the bad, because it is both that makes us who and what we are as a country.

Nowhere else on the face of the Earth is there such a diversity in man as there is in the United States. Nowhere else will you find the vastness and the depth both in people and in beliefs. Yes...We have our problems. And they are assuredly huge in their vastness as the people who inhabit this land. And yes we have a tendency to "forget" and let the "little things" slip through the cracks. And nowhere else will you find a people as slow to anger as "Americans". But nowhere else will you also find a people more fierce, dedicated and out-right "scary" when you piss them off.

But nowhere else on the face of this planet will you find a more "determined" people once woken up from their day-to-day "sleep". And once they have done this, they can change the destiny of an entire planet. And when we as a people tend to "forget", I'd like to think that there are MANY in this country like me who simply will NEVER let us FORGET...
